Video Gallery | Hickam Elementary School

Due to tiered restrictions, students couldn’t come together in person to perform, so they decided on a virtual concert. Instead of creating individual projects, our complex music teachers decided to collaborate on one project, a medley by Israel Kamakawiwo’ole “Somewhere Over the Rainbow and What a Wonderful World,” a song they felt represented Hawaii and had a great message in such a time of needing something to look forward to through this pandemic.
