Description
Classroom Job Description- The PPT, under direct supervision and in close and frequent proximity of a regular classroom teacher, provides instructional support services to a student or a group of students. PPT’s would be working predominantly with lower grade students (K-2).
Non-Classroom Job Description- The PPT would help to implement the school’s supervision plan. PPT’s would support students during recess and lunch by providing cafeteria and recess supervision.
Benefits
There is flexibility with the days worked and it is not required to work all four days, although highly desired.
Requirements
Educational requirements are at least 48 semester credits, 100 level or higher from an accredited university, or an Associates Degree, or completion of a Parapro Assessment with a score of 459 or higher. If interested in taking the Parapro assessment please contact the Community School for Adults (CSA).
Salary
The hourly rate of pay would be at $13.88 an hour and work shifts would be from 8 a.m to 12:45 p.m., for a maximum of 4 days
